All I can say is Wow! I don't know if it can get any better! We had a great trip on the ferry into Ireland where we met our new coach driver, Mr. John. He is a wealth of information! After arriving at the hotel, we were treated to a fantastic dinner and our choice of two desserts. Somehow a couple extra dinner and dessert plates ended up on the leader table but I'm not sure how that happened.... Right now I am sitting in the lobby with free wi-fi enjoying the live music from the resturaunt adjacent to the lobby. (He's singing Ring of Fire if you wanted to know.) We are lucky to be surrounded by great delegates, local managers, great weather, and we are definately enjoying the food now.
We might not have internet access at the next hotel for the next couple days so I'll upload more pictures when I get a chance.
Good night from Ireland!

Hi From Ms. Deitre!
We are having a great time! Stratford-upon-Avon was a new experience for me. I purchased a couple of kids books on Shakespeare so that we will have a new appreciation for his work. We are leaving now to visit a castle in Wales, then off to Ireland! Yay! The students have been developing into fine world travelers. (-:

Additional Ambassador
We have had a sudden addition to our group, Warwick the Dragon. Student ambassador Julianna helped name him. He has his own lanyard and name tag! Look for him in the online Picassa photo albulm.
Right now we are in Wales. Our coach driver informed us that there are more sheep in Wales than people! Tomorrow we are taking the ferry to Ireland. We have been informed by our other fellow ambassador delegations to expect cold weather. So far the weather has been favorable with little to no rain while we have been outside walking around.
Today we walked around Stratford upon Avon and Oxford. We found some great shops and had a chance to go souvenier shopping. We saw the place where Shakespeare was born and also the place where Harry Potter was filmed. All the students are getting used to being away from home and are forming great relationships with their fellow ambassadors.
We love and miss you all (and you can tell by how much we bought!)

Greetings from Warwick
Today was a wonderful day! After an informative tour of London, we headed north to Warwick. You will have to check out our pictures on the Picassa link on the blog to check out all of the pictures (I am loading them now but it's taking a while because I have over 400 so far...). Yes, they have metal swords! But don't worry, they all followed the safety rules of our medieval experts. They all enjoyed the experience. We hope to add a video of the catapault launch!
Tomorrow we are going to see Shakespeare's birthplace and also go to Oxford. The weather is getting a little cooler but at least it didn't rain while we were at the castle.

Moving from London to Warwick
Today we are packing up and heading to Warwick Castle. First we are going to have a tour of London and then drive for a couple hours to the castle where we will eat dinner in a castle!
So far, we have all become experts using the tube and working our way through London. We have had some great opportunities to get some pictures of Big Ben, Tower Bridge, and other famous landmarks. We even got to ride on a double decker bus. Who would have thought 37 students and 5 leaders would all fit on the top level of a double decker bus!?!
Thriller Live! had great singing and dancing. The former member of Parliament was very informational. The students especially enjoyed the drama lesson at a London college where they got to practice improvisation and using the imagination and control.
We are hoping to add pictures from the digital camera tonight but we won't be getting to the hotel until late, so keep your fingers crossed!

We are here!!!!
We had a great flight here with no delays and little turbulance. We arrived in London this morning and went to lunch before going on the London Eye. We had a great view of London while we were at the top. Right now we are eating dinner before we head to the hotel to shower and get some quality sleep.
